![]() System IntegrationMorahalom The greatest challenge on this site (demonstrated on the school-sports hall complex) is the long-term optimisation of combined solar-thermal and geo-thermal systems taking into account cost-efficiency and reservoir management. . The buildings will be insulated beyond national and EU standards taking into account the comfort needs of students. The intelligent ventilation system will consider the usual school cycle (45 minutes class/15 minutes break). Methane content of the thermal well B-40 will be used to power the Thermal Spa. Methane produced along with water of the thermal well Hunyadi-liget-1 will provide auxiliary electricity to the 450 kW heat pump centre that will supply heating and water for the new housing area in the city. Meanwhile heat from the gas engine based CHP unit for the waste gases of this latter well will be function as an auxiliary heater of the thermal water thus increasing the cascade system's efficiency. Galanta RES Integration at the elementary school: the school has a high power demand due to the need of constant lighting during the day. The project includes the installation of photovoltaic (PV) panels on the performance up to 5 kW as the RES integration element The total annual energy gain is anticipated to be up to 5300 kWh (calculated on solar radiation values in the Slovak republic). RES Integration at the 3 selected housing units: RES integration will be carried out by installing PV panels powering the common areas of the housing units. For each insulated housing unit a photovoltaic system with an output of 1.5 kW will be deployed, sufficient to light the common areas of a housing unit with up to 48 dwellings. Montieri A catalogue of applications, integrally estimated on each technological/typology crossing will be worked-out, in order to predict the most appropriate technology and configuration for any building type. The result being a matrix of technologies, components, equipments and materials to be tested in the whole town centre, qualified and quantified in terms of energy benefits, environment impact reduction, and gas emission control. The main area of RES integration will be the overall modernization of the public lighting system of the town centre by changeover to solar-powered LEDs. Photovoltaic modules will be adopted to produce a total amount of 8.5 kW covering the power demand of the street lights. |
