Integration with other RES
Under this sub-WP available experience of integrating different RESs into a cascaded facility with a view to environmental improvements and extending the utilisation time and application spectrum of such facilities will be studied.

Transboundary issues of geothermal energy utilization
These activities will be carried out in close synergy with the "Complex utilization of geothermal energy and planning of the monitoring of the common Hungarian-Serbian thermal water reservoirs" (HUSER0602/086) project.

Reinjection monitoring and modelling
The aim of the sub-WP is to collect data and information on production conditions that clarify the relation between construction and geophysical relations of abstraction-reinjection wells drilled on Upper Pannonian sandstone reservoirs and on the actual abstraction-operation methodology.

Integrated utilization of waste gases of thermal wells
Researchers of the University of Szeged involving the leaders of the other test sites will carry out an in-situ study of the Morahalom site, assessing the results of integrated use of waste gases of thermal wells, benchmarking, analysing the needs and potentials of other possible sites and outlining suggestions for wider-scale applications.
